Mediation Service
Mediation is the most widely known and applied method of dispute resolution among the methods of amicable dispute resolution today.
A mediator is an impartial third party who brings the parties together for the purpose of meeting and negotiating by applying systematic techniques, and ensures that they understand each other and thus produce their own solutions and establish a communication process between them.
A mediator is not the person who makes decisions in this process. In fact, he does not even suggest any solution to the parties. The parties resolve the dispute by reaching an agreement on their own. The mediator determines the main dispute and interests between the parties and tries to ensure that they discuss and find solutions on these issues. Here, the parties produce their own solutions and try to understand each other while doing so.
You can go to a mediator after a dispute arises between you and the other party but before applying to court or arbitration, or you can go to a mediator after filing a lawsuit with the court.
Mediation is only possible on issues that the parties can decide on with their own free will. In clearer terms; Parties may go to mediation in matters that do not concern public order and are susceptible to compulsory execution. Mediation is not possible in matters that the parties cannot make subject to contract, such as criminal cases, cases related to population registration or cases related to custody of children.
